Wolves Fanzone

Wolves and University of Wolverhampton at The Halls are proud to announce a new partnership which will bring two of Wolverhampton’s most iconic institutions together to create an exciting new matchday destination for supporters.

Launching as part of the club’s landmark 150th anniversary season, Wolves Fanzone at The Halls will provide fans with a vibrant indoor venue to meet, socialise and build the atmosphere ahead of every home fixture throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

Located just a short walk from Molineux, Wolves Fanzone and The Halls will combine football, music, entertainment, food and drink in one of the city’s most historic venues, creating a unique pre-match experience for supporters of all ages.

Fans can look forward to appearances from former Wolves favourites, live football on a big screen, live music, special guests, hot food, an excellent bar offering and a welcoming environment where friends and families can come together before heading to Molineux.

The launch of Wolves Fanzone at The Halls represents the next evolution of the club’s matchday experience offering.

While the existing outdoor fanzone has provided supporters with memorable matchday experiences in recent seasons, its open-air nature has inevitably limited its appeal during periods of poor weather, particularly throughout the winter months.

The new venue will build on the best elements of the existing fanzone while providing supporters with a permanent indoor home that can be enjoyed consistently throughout the season, whatever the weather.

Importantly, the partnership also celebrates the unique relationship between Wolves and the city of Wolverhampton.

For 150 years, Wolves have represented Wolverhampton on football’s biggest stages, while generations of residents and visitors have passed through the doors of The Halls to enjoy some of the world’s biggest music, comedy and entertainment acts.

Now, for the first time, those two proud institutions are coming together to create a new matchday tradition for the city.

Wolves’ executive chairman Nathan Shi said: “As we celebrate our 150th anniversary season, we want to create experiences that bring people together and strengthen the connection between our football club, our supporters and our city.

“Wolves Fanzone at The Halls is about much more than simply relocating our existing fanzone. It is about creating a destination that supporters actively want to visit as part of their matchday.

“We know fans value the opportunity to spend time together before matches and we also recognise that the outdoor nature of the current fanzone has presented challenges, particularly during the winter months.

“This partnership allows us to build on what supporters already enjoy while providing a significantly enhanced experience in one of Wolverhampton’s most recognisable and celebrated venues.

“We are incredibly proud to be working alongside University of Wolverhampton at The Halls and look forward to welcoming supporters to what we hope becomes a new and much-loved matchday tradition.”

Crissie Rushton, general manager at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls, said: “The Halls has always been a place where people come together to share unforgettable experiences.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Wolves on a project that feels like a natural fit for both organisations and for the city itself.

“Wolves and The Halls are both part of Wolverhampton’s story and this partnership brings those worlds together in a really exciting way. We can’t wait to welcome supporters through our doors throughout the season.”

Wolves Fanzone at The Halls will open at 5pm this Friday in the famous Wulfrun Hall ahead of Wolves’ opening EFL Championship fixture of the 2026/27 season against Blackburn Rovers, and will include appearances from Ryan Bennett and Michael Kightly, as well as live music performed by Jack Cattell and a DJ set from The 48s.

Further details and information about upcoming guests, entertainment and musical acts will be released ahead of each matchday across our channels.
